There is no better way to spice up your event than to have a professional belly dancer as the entertainment! It will be a night of fun and beauty that your guests will never forget.

A belly dance show is perfect for...

Birthdays, wedding receptions, theme parties, corporate events, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduation parties, children's parties, school assemblies...almost any event you can imagine (**no bachelor parties, please!**).

Kalila always provides an elegant and professional performance that is sure to please every crowd.

How It Works

Performance:

Shows usually range from 20-30 minutes. Shows can be formatted as a "full show" on a stage/cleared area, or as a "crowd mingling" through the audience--or any combination of the two (ie. 15 minutes stage performance, 10 minute crowd mingling, etc.). Multiple dance sets and/or longer dance sets are happily accomodated upon request.

Please note if you would like a specific form of dance to be included such as candle, sword, veil, cane or traditional folk dance. Zills (finger cymbals) are always included, and traditional props such as veil and cane are often included unless otherwise specified.

Music:

Music is provided by the dancer, and an appropriate sound system for either CD or IPod is required from the client. If no sound system exists, arrangements can be made--please specify this with Kalila. The music usually includes a variety of Arabic styles, but if a specific region of music or dance is requested (ie. for a "Greek party"), we will be happy to accomodate you as best as possible. If you prefer Live Music, please let Kalila know and arrangements can be made! (At an additional fee)

Costuming:

"Cabaret Style" costuming unless otherwise specified. Almost any style of costuming can be accomodated! Costumes are always tasteful and family-friendly.

Dancer(s):

If you require more than one dancer for your event, Kalila will happily arrange for a duet or group performance! (At an additional fee)

Pricing:

Pricing ranges between $250 and $350 depending on the details specific to the event and venue.
